Lost Planet: Extreme Condition and Lost Planet 3 have always worked well on steam
But only recently did they finally fix Lost Planet 2 (my favorite one) so that you can actually play the goddamn thing
But in doing this, they also removed the multiplayer aspect for whatever reason
I've only finished the first Lost Planet
but i plan on completing 2 and 3 now that i can properly play them both on PC
i feel like this is a very underrated Capcom series

I found Lost Planet 2 (PS3) in a local used goods store a while ago, still didn't play it, too many things to play

Beat LP 1 back in the day really liked it, but never manage to get into 2 just didn't feel the same
And never played 3

I enjoy LP 1 and 2 a lot for different reasons, LP2 being a better coop game and all. I liked the 3DS spin-off one well enough too. I've never bothered with LP3, it seemed way too different from the others and a bit more generic.

Interesting one, played through couple of levels and quit in the giant centipede boss. I remember movement being vert sluggish and being constantly annoyed by warmth meter.

1 was a good start, 2 refined the good ideas from 1 and the multiplayer is really fun specially with the crossover skins, 3 I appreciate that they tried to add more story but the gameplay is such a far cry from the other 2 and I wish that E.X troopers could be re released

I enjoyed the shit out of both 1 and 3.

Might have to try and pick up another physical copy of the first game if the steam version doesn't work well.

I loved 1 back in the day. While it might not hold up as well now, it was incredibly impressive back in the early 360 days. I also really enjoyed 3 even though it's more like a Dead Space game with a mech. The story and voice acting in 3 is the best in the entire franchise, IMO.

2 seems like most people's favorite nowadays. That's the only one I didn't enjoy as much. It was more of a co-op game, the story and characters took a backseat, and it played more like a Monster Hunter game. It was too different from 1 for my liking.

1 was ok, too repetitive, LP 2 was ok too, but the one like it less too much resemblance to monster hunter boredom crap, and LP 3 is the one i like it the most, is different, is not the same crap as other 2 games, LP for me needed to be like a survival horror from a first person perspective, they do the right thing on LP 3, the way it has to be done.
