well, its not exactly a remake but there is already Bubsy 3D: Bubsy Visits the James Turrell Retrospective. it's a magical and magnificent experience and everyone in this thread should try it.

I did it. I 100% completed Bubsy 3D. I think I need therapy.

It wasn’t quite as terrible as I expected (still bad though) and some part really made me laugh.
When this happens I get so mad, but I'm secretly amused at the same time:
