Seems like I revisit this series every couple of years and still just as moving and as uncomfortable as it was the first time I watched it

It focuses on a young boy named Shawn in the early 80's who's lost his father and has trouble fitting in. He later becomes friends with a group of Skinheads (much different context than here in the states). It unfortunately takes a turn when the group's leader, Woody, finds out his old buddy Combo got released from Prison. Combo utterly taints the spirit of the group and corrupts Shawn in the process. It's very grim and some parts are hard to watch

The series would later spawn three follow up tv series, 86, 88, and 90

hey i watched this about a week ago found it surprisingly wholesome
originally "skinheads" were all about reggae music and dancing like idiots
but at some point in the 80's they adopted a racist agenda and i think this movie highlights that
would recommend

Oh I watched this movie because a friend recommended a long time ago but had no idea it had tv series lol.
