i was updating my final fantasy 7 mods in the 7th heaven mod manager everything was normal but when i was trying to go on the game settings i see this message (could not load the settings from the FFNx.toml file. this likely happens when your current version of FFNx is outdated. consider updating FFNx to the latest version available for your chosen channel and try again.) and whats is worse is my FFNx is in the LATEST VERSION AVAILABLE and this problem still persists!!!!
i tried to find the solution for this problem but its imposible because its my first time seeing this.

Hmm did you check if this .toml file is perhaps marked as read only?

Yes, you can assess using notepad but its just the driver options inside this toml.

Try right clicking on the file, then select properties. On the window that appears, see if "read only" is one of the marked checkboxes. I don't really know what is going on, but at least at first glance it seems 7th Heaven is trying to access its configuration file but cannot.

I'm going to check this later.

Maybe save your mods to a separate folder and do a fresh install of 7th Heaven.
