I saw those trailer and the fact this is a sequel to the original i'm surprised somewhat.

I watched the original series on Toonami but I don't remember much other than thinking it was average overall. This trailer does nothing for me unfortunately but that may just be because I'm getting older and some anime shows look so derivative because I've seen something very similar before.

But I'm happy for those who are excited about it and I hope it lives up to their expectations :->

I can relate as I too watched the original series on Toonami. I didn't think much of the trailer as well.

I remember my favorite parts of the original series was the early parts when they actually had to go and find each warrior. I remember getting annoyed a little in latter parts of the series due to enemies being a bit too overpowered. Basically the warriors were useless unless they had the inferno armor.

I loved Ronin Warriors so much as a kid. I watched it in Syndication long before Toonami and even had toys of Ryo and Sai. I was hoping that we'd get basically the old series with a new coat of paint (like Ranma, Lum, and Shaman King), but this appears not to be the case

Like most everyone else here, I saw episodes on Toonami Aeons ago. I didn't think much of the show, it just always struck me as animated Power Rangers in samurai armor. Not dissing the show if you like it mind you, but it just looks like every generic anime to come out in the last five+ years.

Like @bjork said, the best part was the end trailers. I checked out the smoking one... it seems interesting, so I will check it out. It led to another show I will watch "Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right" It looks really cute. I do like slice of life anime anyway.

Man who the heck approved using a bl style for the revival of a shonen series, it's getting kinda obvious they only do that to farm rageclicks from the old fans.

Why would BL style be a problem? As a life long fan I think its similar enough to the original style. Would you rather have something like SS Omega? Now that style I thought was glaringly different to the original.
