Since 2017 i have met people that Collect Figures, Model Kits and Gunpla mostly Online. I have friends that got rooms full of that stuff as for my collection is small because i am very picky on Gunpla, backstory matters and the character piloting it much more than the design or the popularity. Needs patience and focus i only own 4 Kits what about you? Got anything interesting in your room?

I have a collection of Marvel, Star Wars and Star Trek figure models. Also movie and tv based vehicles, non anime.

For a while I wax mostly interested in scale models of real world stuff, planes mostly. Then my friends introduced me to Gundam, and then I found Gunpla... Current count is 20, 17 High Grade, 3 Master.

Definitely, I don't buy stuff that doesn't connect with me personally, just looking cool is not enough.

Here is what I got, well some of these are not model kits, I wanted to make a Super Robot Wars box art-esque thing, it's a work in progress, waiting for Eva-01 for the top right and Shisaku Oubu on the front.

Got few on other shelf, mostly Char units tho.

I've some gunpla (Gundam Exia with the Repair kit, Strike and one from Ibo) and i really like them. I mostly like building them because is somethig relaxing for me, some music or a good video (like film or documentary) and you're set

I lucky you, I've never meet anyone under the age of 40 who likes scale modeling; I am a big Gundam fan and I have plenty of kits (mostly unbuilt); I've recently finished and painted the MG Shining Gundam and Master Gundam. G-Gundam is my favourite, It's a shame the kits are so few and hard to find (do not get me started on those Premium bandai HGs) and I'm still searching for the Spiegel Gundam.
Do you handpaint or use an airbrush?

They look awesome, but I'm overwhelmed, intimidated actually building them. Actually, I just don't have the patience for it.

I love Gundam and arts and crafts, so Gunpla was made for me lol. Unfortunately here where I live the kits are prohibitively expensive, so I've only built two so far:

My first one was the Blue Destiny Unit 3 HG and my second was the Exia RG. The Unit 3 was a good entry kit for me, but I feel the Exia was a little too hard, having that many details in a small figure. I think the sweet spot for me would probably be a MG, so that's what I'm looking to buy next.

Guilty. I have numerous High Grades, a Real Grade of the Force Impulse from SEED Destiny, and a couple of Master Grades, my favourite being of the main man himself (the RX-78-02 Origin ver. from Gundam: The Origin, a manga adaptation of the Original Mobile Suit Gundam show).
However, my favourite things I've built aren't of any of the Gundams or their adversaries: It's of the YF-19 and YF-21 from Macross Plus.

Yes, they're awesome. Yes, I will happily save up to purchase a Bandai DX or Arcadia collectible toy of the former (and either the Threezero Robo-Dou or Arcadia versions of the VF-1 from the show Macross Plus serves as a sequel to, The Super Dimension Fortress Macross aka. Robotech).

I like gundam in general just asking with 0 intention to offend or piss someone off ok just hear me out: it wouldn't be cooler if the gumplas were like that Megatron that moves by it self? And also, if you could you would pilot an gundan? (If i was going to pilot just one mech i would pilot ome of the gundans from 00)

Been doing gunpla for decades at this point. Got my first one before Gundam Wing was even aired in the UK, where I'm from. The perks of going to HK for family trips.

interest in gunpla has waned over the years and I got into anime garage kits later down the line and I have been keeping up with those.
