Does anybody here even remember this game, or is it just me?

Never seen it before.

Looks like.... PS2 or Xbox or Gamecube game, horror game.

And i'm totally wrong, it's windows/mac 2009

Hmm.... 🤔 Hmm.... 🤔 Hmm..... 🤔
Naaahhhh! It's just you! 🤷🏻‍♂️

P.S. She has a sexy gaze, though! 🤔

I had never heard of this before seeing this thread. If i had to guess however, it was released as a response to American McGee's Alice. I'd prolly play it.

I remember thinking it was really cool, but I’m not sure if I ever played it myself.
A friend of mine was pretty obsessed with it iirc.

Yeah, i remeber playing this one back in 2012, short but neat game, it has some cool music too

Haha, what a fucking game The Path was. It was super intriguing at first and actually remained so for a pretty good while. I didn't know what to do for quite a while, but I eventually figured it out and had a lot of fun seeing the "wolf" for each girl and what they had to say about the items you could find, though actually finding stuff could get really boring. The sequences at grandma's house were really cool too. Not one of the best games I've played, but I'm glad I played it.

Never played it, but this was all over the "artsy indie game" scene in the early 2010s (alongside stuff like Journey and Dear Esther). Tale of Tales, the developers of it, were somewhat notable at the time for making loads of """"""games"""""" about weird topics like this, like that one where you're an old woman marching towards her grave, but they never actually made anything fun or interesting. They eventually folded after the high-profile failure of their game Sunset, and the couple behind it went nuts at their player base on Twitter.

I think the concept of The Path is kind of interesting, and it's not a horrible artstyle (though it's very clearly ripping off American McGee's Alice), but I wouldn't actually care enough to spend any time with it. SORRY

It's okay. You should consider yourself lucky that having shit takes is not a crime yet. /j

I definitely played it, but I remember nothing, it was erased from my brain either cause it was too boring or too traumatic or both.

You unlocked some memories there. Can't say I remember anything about it besides playing it though.

I remember this “thing,” it was I think the first game I wanted to completely remove from my Steam library. And it was a period in which I appreciated experimental and strange titles, but this “thing”... really, it was boring, irritating, hurt my eyes, nonsensical, I remember the stupid camera that moved away from the character when he was running, nice shitty gimmick, then randomly thrown graphic effects... in short, thanks to The Path I learned at the time that I had to very carefully select titles to buy on Steam, and it was also a period in which this platform was not as full of crap as it became shortly thereafter.
