So with that out of the way, I can confidently say that I will buy the Switch 2*... The asterisk being "not right now". Yeeeeeah the Switch 2 looks amazing, but I'll hold out on impulse buying (and you should too) since we don't know what will be the last revision of the console before they cut support, some might look at what we have right now and be content with it or even have the funds to consider an upgrade in the future, but for me? I prefer waiting it out to see what else they add (or even remove) on later revisions of the console, because let's be real this won't be the last edition of the Switch, they'll release something in the future that'll justify a new purchase, like making the screen OLED (I don't know if the new model is OLED) or increasing the battery life span, or maybe even making a "Lite" version that's handheld mode only (my ideal version, btw) there is a lot we don't know yet, so I say it's better to wait and see than to jump the shark. Another point seen in the trailer and in this article is the "Exclusive Switch 2 Games"... God I hope it's like the New 3DS where it only got a handfull of exclusive games before they dropped the ideia, I really don't like the ideia of "upgrade locking" games behind revisions of a console, I don't mind playing the "inferior" version, just give me a playable version for my Switch Lite! All in all, the Switch 2 looks great, but like I said I'll wait for further models down the line to see which better fits me, and this is coming from someone that had a DS Lite, a 3DS OG and now a New 3DS XL, so it's easy to fall into the rabbit hole of model chasing. Extra: just for reference, here's a picture of my Switch Lite, traded it last year for my OG Launch Switch.
