It is a great thing that You're not an American, because of what You can bring to this Community, that others in America can not. Such as Certain or Specific Media or Other, that's only where You are or near. It brings Healthy Variety that is much needed, especially Communication-Wise.

What are your thoughts on The Recent Community Thread? You have Value just as the Others in this Community. You are Imperative as well.

Well, since this thread was reopened, I'll put in my two cents and say I felt educated.

I was wrong to close it, it was mostly ignorance on my part.
I apologize for that. It's hard to strike a balance when moderating.
We try to avoid politics but something always escapes us. It's still a young forum and not perfect.

I've done Plenty of Mistakes here as well, with my postings, due to ignorance that Other Users have pointed out. It helped me Evolve, be More Aware and Careful.

Finding balances when Moderating does not have to be an Alone Thing, for You or The Mods. Ya'll are not alone because y'all have the rest of the Community, who if not all, but a good bit. May gladly help Y'all and Talk. As I've brung up before when talking about Community Health & Assistance. The Forum being Young is Perfect for still establishing such things. It being Young gives Greater Overall Advantage, since there are Other and Older Places, y'all can see and learn from. What and Whatnot to do, and so on. It does not have to be Perfect. Sometimes things are Beautiful and Together and a Unit and Together as a Unit, though not being Perfect. It is the Little Things. Little Things that make up the Big Things...

What you've Managed to put forward Here, with The Repo and The Forum. Is a True Great Mark and will be Remembered, for all that has been brought from it all. Inspiring others to Share their Projects and much more, just so soon More may see and be Inspired to do more. You and Others here, help bring People to Together in a Positive Way. Of course some Bad will be there.

A simple Thanks is not enough, because a lot would not even bother with Something like this. Or may be straight Selfish in ways.

I think the reason for the original closing of this thread was a minor bout of paranoia on Spike's part. I blame the people who are so ferocious about fighting racism that they achieved the opposite effect. Iirc I've mentioned before how I dislike the fact that you can't make a game with a minority protagonist without being called 'woke' these days. Same applies here. These fine folks should be celebrated for what they've done but everyone tiptoes around them instead because of their skin color since race has been weaponized to such a degree that you can't easily sidestep the political aspect of it.

I miss the old days when we were all f-words and n-words and noone thought anything of it since it was far from indicative of anyone's stance on race or sexuality.

I understand where you’re coming from, and I don’t want to debate anything, but the past you’re describing never existed for some people. Just because it wasn’t hostile to or from you personally does not mean that was everyone’s experience. It wasn’t ALL people with no hate in their heart. Not at all. Still isn’t. And if you think there never was any hate, anyone fighting it would be “going overboard”, wouldn’t they? I don’t think that’s where the blame belongs. I understand that’s how a lot of people feel, but it lacks perspective. Anyway, don’t wanna sully the thread with this, and if I am please moderate me, I mean no harm and wouldn’t complain.
