The GTA engine and its wonky physics lol
I like how people have excused the jank in those games (as good as they were, even GTA IV had janky physics because of how precise Euphoria was) yet nowadays when an open world has a small issue people will tell everywhere online.

At least we could get funny things due to these physics (and i think in certain point that is one of the funniest things about free-roaming in GTA due to these random situations)

Yay, another Jiggly post talking about games ::warcraft-skeleton
This time i have already beat Blasphemous and Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask.

I'll start with the Spanish blasphemous Penitent One, surrounded by any kind of suffering souls, whose conical and thorny mask KNOWS MY F*KING BLOOD, WHATABLOODYHARDGAMETHISIS ::angrygenjin...yeah, i died so much in this one that is not even funny.

Anyway, i love the game regardless. Dark themes and characters are my thing, some of the secondary ones have amazing designs while english dub is cool and cavernous at times, and enjoy this a lot.

Nice music, landcapes, and battle system. interesting lore by the way, resembling Dark Soul's, well...everything resembles Dark Soul's here ::koishigun

Boss fights are good, most of them drive me insane ::angrygenjin, but at the end of the day i attack them with my panties until i win, like i do with the new mods here <3
Very nice Metroidvania in general, i was a little annoyed by the fact that almost every single one of the mechanics and the surroundings spots like platforms, or the breeze were conceived specifically to make you die somehow, which is ::angrygenjin but that's the main thing of this game so, my bad ::sailor-embarrassed

This, has 8,3 in my pee Jigglyrank ::booshy

The other one i beat, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, is another thing, full of puzzles, to the point i;
PUZZLE THE FUCK OUT YOUR MOM LAYTON 🫵::angrygenjin
You see this little piece of shit right here?, Luke Triton (the kid):

Reminds me all my stupidest deaths in Blasphemous, don't know why...

But hey, the game is awesome, one of the best in my opinion of the entire franchise. I like the fact that this game try to develop Layton past a little more further, and that's the key here. Every time the game look to the past is just great, and every anime-ish cinematic give the artstyle a cool perspective or emotion to it. Lovely music, i like this new place Montedore and the story about it, fun puzzles and characters.

I can't complain too much with this, besides, sometimes not being able to understand some puzzles approach, or solutions, etc, etc. The only little critique i can throw is that, the villain is kind of easy to elucidate their identity. A problem others Laytons have with villains or some mysteries they want to preserve to a certain extent. Is a little long game so, that's good i guess...

In my Jigglyrank: 7,6 🧩 🧩 🧩 🧩 🧩 ::sickening

Most people agree that the IV (3DS) entry is the ideal to start cause is a bit more easy than the others, so if you are looking for something like that, you can start there. I didn't do that, i started with the I and i'll go in the number order ignoring the difficulty.

The franchise don't follow each other in a meaningful way, they relate by lore but in a superficially connected context and basically they are standalone. In my opinion, just pick the one you like the most out them and have fun ::peacemario
Ahh, We are talking about Etrian Odyssey. I'm currently playing 5 on my 3DS. Very fun to play on original hardware simply because of how easy it is to open. I chose 5 to start off with simply because of the character creation is better. I don't like the sprites in 4 that much, and lack of skin and hair color options makes it hard to represent myself and and my friends which is something I care a lot about in rpgs.

Once I finish 5 and 6 (Nexus), I'll start playing the 3DS remasters of the older games. It's a lot of content packed into that series
