I wonder what will happen if things get too much to handle for Spike?

I just log on to here everyday cause there's not a lot of places for me to hang out in.

And I don't want to lose RGT.

Humanity had to left their 37th planet they had to colonize to survive. But end of time was near. No one could explain why stars were going dark!!! Universe was getting darker and darker. It seemed angels were too scared to watch over the unfortunate humans!!!

In the colony ship going to the 38th planet, there was a RGT cult no one knew where this cult even started. Legends told that a magical stone no one knows what actually it's carry the "souls of many people" inside of it. Humanity has lost the knowledge that "the magical stone" was actually an USB stick and "the souls of many people" inside is actually the backup data of every user and their messages posted on the RGT forum. Legends spoke of a "website to find" but no one knew what is a "website" anymore. They thought it was a planet that contains something that can "free" the souls trapped within the magical stone. The RGT cult in their own way praying to their god they named "Spike" and were looking for their planet "Website"*

I think we should be happy for what we have now and enjoy it as much as we can, we can't really know what the future holds, and so thinking about the downfall of RTG when it just started and in its infancy (in the grand scheme of things) is...not stupid, but rather fruitless. I am not saying not to plan for the future, just that one should be enjoying what one has right now and think more about how to keep that enjoyment for years to come.

Any community have its up and down moments... we shouldn't assume the problems are bigger than they really are.

Each of us can help, don't underestimate your power!
As a user, i always try to be kind and respectful toward other users... even if their opinions or beliefs are different than mine.

Also as an aside: I found it much easier to contribute and be a part of the RGT forums than I did trying to be part of Knockout (the successor to Facepunch). Maybe it was just too overwhelming for me tbh. I prefer the more relaxed atmosphere of these forums.

I was once a member of a forum whose Abandonware site partner went under two decades ago this year, and posting is still going.

If things get heated to the point of having to forfeit our little archive, that's still an option... And we have pulled much greater numbers here in less than a year than they have in their 22 years of posting.

We would have a real shot at it.
