I give it a try here in the anime section to express as better as I can my opinion about this one. It's very difficult because this is not easy for viewers to understand it, this is not a simple story you have to observe all the little details in it, as you progress watching it important stuff keep popping up.
Roger summons the Megadeus by calling its name into his wristwatch, and declaring it's "showtime".
At times, Big O appears to have a mind of its own. When Roger is in danger of being killed in "R.D.", the megadeus goes to its master and stops the assassin, who questions Roger about who controls it. During the fight with Bonaparte in "The Third Big", Big O locks itself and lets Roger out because R. Dorothy is in danger. In "Enemy Is Another Big!", Schwarzwald questions if the Bigs truly need pilots.
A futuristic city, lost memories, an expert negotiator - investigator fights threats to the city with the help of an android and his own giant robot and don't forget the awesome butler. Some of the anime Industry fanatics called it a parallel universe of Bruce Wayne with a mecha, in an aesthetic anime background with twists and plots the simple minded can't really understand by watching it one time.
Creators Kazuyoshi Katayama(Assistant in Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind 1984) and Kei'ichi Sato (Director of Tiger & Bunny 2011). As my anime friends understand the 26 Episodes of The Big O 1999 are not the usual anime, this is a very special one.

I added the trailer, hmm let me see i want to write more about this one cause I loved it but i hate spoiling it for future viewers. This series was designed as a tribute to Japanese and Western shows from the 1960s and 1970s and presented in the style of film noir and combines themes of detective fiction and mecha anime. The setpieces are reminiscent of tokusatsu productions of the 1950s and 1960s, particularly Toho's KAIJU movies, and the score is an eclectic mix of styles and musical homages. Also great OST check it out by Toshihiko Sahashi a Japanese composer graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 1986, has composed music for various anime series, video games, films, dramas, and musicals like Zipang, Ghost Sweeper Mikami, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, Gunslinger Girl, Black Blood Brothers, Ultraman Gaia, Ultraman Mebius, Seijuu Sentai Gingaman, Kamen Rider Den-O, Full Metal Panic!, Hunter × Hunter, Simoun, Reborn! Style of his composition is richly symphonic and classical occasionally JAZZ.
I strongly suggest for people that where searching something to watch to go for it, grab some snacks get comfortable and enjoy. Thanks for reading until my next Thread, see you.
