I’m sure you’ve seen it before if you’re into the Amiga, but my lord, this video is absolutely gobsmacking. The style, the presentation, and the use of such a small aspect to teach so much about the Amiga and Amiga culture. It’s incredible.

I love this video too! After making this thread, I just re-binged a whole bunch of his stuff. Devs and players from the UK gaming scene often reminisce fondly about the Amiga line, and Ahoy’s documentaries help a young American like myself understand why so much better.

I will say, I’m fairly certain this video doesn’t as much cover the decline of Amiga, but rather the early failures of the line, establishing the faults of Commodore’s marketing branch that would go on to tear the company apart in 1994. For a good video on the fall, even though it serves as a think piece theory, I would recommend:
