I own a lot of handhelds and one of my go to consoles is this:

You can even build it yourself, you don't need to buy one of the premades... I mean the premade is nice though, just always sold out. But does any one else have one of these? It comes with a ton of games and since it's open source, people still make stuff for it. I'm a big fan of limitations in games development and since this only has a d-pad, 2 buttons and a black and white display. Dev's have had to be really creative with it.

The only thing I really recommend if you own one is to put some tape over the led's as for what ever reason, they have the intensity of the sun when they blink for what ever reason during game loading or when they're used for some sort of UI element. I can't express how painful they are to look at though.

Any one else own one of these? I know it came with a cute charging cable.... can't remember the last time I needed to charge it though. Must have been years.

Okay, Castle Boy sold me. Also how is the flight sim so readably a flight sim? I was not expecting such quality.

I backed it on Kickstarter way back when, so I've got one of the earliest models that could only hold one game at a time where you needed to connect it to a PC to load another game onto it. Should I go for the FX model instead??

I mean, if you like having 300 games on it at the same time without the hassle of plugging it into your computer. Yes!
How it seems to work is it saves the last loaded game into memory, so when ever you turn it back on you can just press and jump right in to the last game, for a long time it's been that silly little Christmas cat machine for me because I just really like the game.

I've never played model 1, but I have the understanding the speaker is better on it now. It sure does bleep. Also since the FX lets you have more games on it the community put together a tool that lets you make your own collections.

It looks fantastic, but my machine isn't happy with it lol.

Speaking of the OG Arduboy, mine lives!!

Here I am playing the dungeon crawler Dark & Under.
