I wish BK hadn't gotten rid of these guys for good.

With a 90's thread on a site called retrogametalk, it reminds me of, well, the oldschool gametalk.com website.

It was a really old forum to talk about video games, kinda like here.

The last truly great decade. I was listening to a lot of Goldfinger and Reel Big Fish, skateboarding, watching Howard Stern's E Show, watching The Man Show, watching the Girls Gone Wild commercials that accompanied them 😂, watching the Monday Night Wars, watching MTV's Spring Break, etc.

Anything went back then. We had American Pie and The Bloodhound Gang. Good times.

We had an optimistic view on future with the y2k and dot com bubble aesthetics.
The 00's honestly just continued the latter half of the 90s and seemingly stayed that way. It's also weird that fashion hasn't evolved either

I kind of "selectively" enjoy the 90's, mainly the "Neo 80's" (1990-1995) and "Late 90's" (98-99). It's a shame that we'll never have anything as decent as Eurodance again

There are things that I liked about the 00s that I liked much more that the 90s. Loved the 6th generation consoles, most of the music, the culture (mainly the 80s nostalgia), and the tv. I probably enjoyed it the most because I was coming into my own as a person if that makes sense?

The early 2000s where my Childhood we had a mix of 90s tech and culture though in Germany and the Ps2 was so goated the world was also much saner back then I have the feeling.I still remember trading football cards on the schoolyard despite me not caring for sport or playing Worms on my Nds with some friends. Those where some times mate did not even had Internet access back then.
