PS3 Text Editor?

Super odd question, I know... but does anyone know about a text editing app for the PS3? The phone I write articles in is starting to die in less than an hour from a full charge, and that's killing my rhythm.

“Note app” yields no results
“Writing app” gives text messaging apps
I believe the ps3, outside of gaming, was only truly meant for music and tv :(

Inputting text with a gamepad will definitely kill your rhythm even faster. However, you could use text editors or audio recorders from PS1 or PSP, like FlatEditPSP
I know the Xbox allows you to emulate past generations, but I'm not sure if the same applies to the PS3.

I tried, but my (jailbroken) PS3 just won't go online. It refuses to.

Try using emulators of computers like MS-DOS or the Commodore 64

I don't have ps3, so i can't confirm, but i found a few that might or might not be relevant:

• PS3 ezRemote Client
  It's actually a ftp manager, but includes a text editor too!
• MultiMan
  It's a file manager, i'm not sure, but i think it includes a text editor.
• IRISMAN
  A backup manager and file manager? it has a hex editor, not sure about text editors
• PlayStation 3 Toolset
  I'm not sure what it is, but it seems to be a website that should be opened from ps3 browser and control it from inside?
• Installing an OS like Linux
  It seems that you can install Linux in ps3, and even graphical version of it! but i'm not sure if it's worth it or not.
