Tetris with Cardcaptor Sakura Eternal Heart (テトリス with カードキャプターさくら エターナルハート) is the first Tetris game by Arika to be released on a home console. The game lacks a standard mode, and instead plays similarly to Flash Point, where the goal is to clear lines containing jeweled blocks as fast as possible. The game had an anti-PS1-modchip check which prevents most emulators from playing it. It has been FIXED to remove the modchip detection, using the patch by Z3ROX found at https://www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php?topic=28668.0

Fun fact, this game uses same engine and control systems from "Tetris the Grandmaster" and lets you do a lot of the same moves arika's system lets you. I forgot did this game implement Sonic Drop or not though, as I think this happened before TGM2. TGM3's "Sakura mode" is, as you can guess, an continuation of the unique puzzler stages of this game. It is basically only home version of TGM aside the other one for Xbox 360 for the longest time, though now TGM1, 2 and 4 are released on different digital platforms.

Funnily enough I downloaded it and tested it on retroarch with duckstation core and it ran fine but got stuck on the boot screen with pcsx core, I'm guesiing it is patched though.

I erased the patched ISO after making the eBoot. Maybe someday. There's a link to the patch on the post, if you can't wait.

Of course it's real! It was used in the early days of the Tetris Company on many official games and products.
Check out a wiki or something if you want to play it. It's not your typical Tetris.

For those who can't find it, Cardcaptor is spelled differently with a space.

Tetris TGM3 had a Sakura mode that plays like this one.
