let's see how this game performs on the same PC (i5), emulated with Xemu, PCSX2 and Dolphin, and played for 30 mins until the first bossfight

interesting results, each version seems to have pro and cons

-OGXbox-
better gfx on average, triple video controls in options (brightness, gamma, contrast), btw the default setting is already pretty good;
shame Xemu fails when the are more enemies or bosses on screen, the framerate will go down a lot.
Probably this is the best version to play on real hardware

-PS2-
smooth as silk
this strangely has the darkest image setting of the three, and shame no video setting options in menu, compared to the other two;
btw good gfx, and little better flame effect than the others.
The first boss fight (the giant worm like) it is better here, more detailed ice tiles area and better boss gfx and movement

-Gamecube-
smooth as silk
less powerful gfx than the others, less detailed, does the job btw;
worst camera of the set, you need to adjust a lot, but it also starts wrong positioned in many cases.
Better sound to me so far, i have tested all 3 versions using earphones, and the default audio setup is impacting the most here.
2 video setup options in menu, gamma and brightness

forgot to say, the game is easier on Gamecube, one-two hits are ie enough to kill the wolves, when they need 2-3 on Xbox-PS2; same proportioned for the other enemies/boss

The GameCube is more capable than the PS2 but because of the smaller discs, maybe, the games on the console generally lack some details unfortunately.

really i'm liking to find the differences in the multiplatform titles, each game can behave better on average on one of the three

What is best in life? To mod your graphics, see them upscaled before you, and to boost the emulation of their ROMs!
