Even Sonic Generations, a sort of return to form, didn't get me hyped up. When I watched Sonic Boom for the first time, I ask myself what is going on with the series, and hardly recognize it. Sonic Racing and the Olympic Games aside (because IDK, Olympics?) were good but it took a long time for Sonic to get back in track. We're closing in on an anniversary and does a good tale of Sega vs Nintendo through the lens of the underdogs, Sega.
