As far as smartphones go, microtransactions pretty much killed any and all interest I could possibly have so we'd be talking pre-2014 games I think? Not a bad idea to have them archived and playable. For anything more recent than that you'd probably have to emulate in-app purchases like MAME emulates inserting coins but then there wouldn't be much of a game to play since you'd just power through it in 10 minutes with diamonds/crystals/whatever.
