Hello, recently downloaded Tear Ring Saga already patched from here, but had issues getting the darn thing to work: the game starts fine and all, but the moment I click on any of the options (New Game, Continue or Versus), it kick me back to the Title screen.

I am using Duckstation if that can help narrow down what the issue might be.

Try pressing circle instead of X.

False allarm: I found what the issue is... I discovered because it is Japanese game, pressing Circle is confirming and X is declining, so I kept accidentally kept returning to the title screen by pressing X

I am a bleeding buffoon

Yeah, found out JUST before you replied

Happens to the best of us.

Ah, another Shozou Kaga enjoyer in the wild. You should try Berwick Saga afterwards. It is really good.

Lol, In Japan O is for correct and X is for incorrect why most games do this scheme. Why it was swapped for overseas....I don't know, but 100% guaranteed it is a idiotic reason.
