Groose also is a rival to link in skyward sword at starting the game until mid game wich becomes a friend to link, pretty much the equivalent from silver from gsc manga (picks an animal by itself from other person, actively is a rival, gets involved to the main story and becomes a friend to gold).

There was a hack like that in development called Sacred Paradox. But it had to be stopped due to the ROM getting corrupted. Last I checked, he was gonna restart it. Dunno if he ever did though.

Link's sort of rival from Oracle of Ages. Basically Ralph is in love with Nayru and thinks he's the one who's gonna save her. He's always one step ahead of you too.

plus his theme sounds like something straight out of Pokemon. It plays every time he shows up.

It looks very good and at the same time good potential to be a Pocket Monsters/Pokémon Romhack but in the Mario universe also known as the Mushroom Kingdom.

I've played this all the way up to the Elite Four. This fan hack by Alpharad and the team is no joke. Genuinely feels like a named studio created it.. think like what Capcom did with the likes of Seasons and Ages.

My biggest criticism is there's not enough evolutions. Seriously. There is 151 to catch (fill out the Dex) but being Mario enemies there's only so many evolutions they could genuienly evolve in to.

Interesting details, I aldo found the "Tattedex", which shows evolutions.

Lol this game was hidden in the repo forum for so long. Glad they put this romhack in the repo downloads.

Cross my fingers that my requests from december 2024 have upload in the repo downloads and yes since 2024 romhacks and translations that i requested sometime ago, i patched myself and put them in my rg353ps.
