Graphics and some removed phrases aside (no more Bruce Lee reference in game from original), I think it complements the original and gives it a fresh new style that makes it fun and exciting.

Yes, it was great. I really like how Samus design still stay the same, it looks really cute

It was great having new content for such a classic game, but I still prefer the old pre-rendered look. It's still a good way to play the game, however.

Absolutely! Though I suppose it's difficult to mess up something that solid if you're going to stick close to the source material. I loved the soundtrack! Booster's theme in particular was amazing.

it's better than the original us release

The game looks surprisingly faithful to the original, though I shouldn't be that surprised because Square like to remake their RPGs multiple times.

They fucked up The Thousand Year Door...

Yeah, I loved it. Only thing I didn’t really like was how easy it was, and that you couldn’t turn some of the new easy changes off, like shockwaves from timing attacks.

I'm glad it has a more accurate translation than the SNES version, but I also heard it has some more censorship compared to the original SNES Japanese release, so I still play via the Relocalized hack + uncensored Bowser win pose hack.

It's a remake and honestly ArtePiazza are good devs so why is this surprising?

I played through it last November. I had a good time with it, even if I think it was a bit easier than the original. That said, I did end up putting it aside before doing the post-game content. When I have the time I’ll go challenge that.

Only gripe i had about it was that it was too easy and even more so than the original. Would've appreciated a hard difficulty being added since they added an easier one.
