pretty good but why didn't they make this for 3ds? the 3ds has better controls overall

I think it's also a very good idea although the community will take a lot of time and effort to port this game but for the 3DS.

Although the title of the game in the 3DS version may be like: Super Mario Galaxy 3D (if it comes into existence in the future).

For a Homebrew Port of the Wii's Famous base game is pretty impressive for the Nintendo DS version and at the same time reprogrammed from scratch obviously, is capable of and has several of the game's most iconic levels despite the fact that this Homebrew Port is in development but in the future it will be finished and we would finally have the very famous Mario game for the Wii but in the DS version.

Is it confirmed safe for DS or 3DS hardware? Because a lot of hacks for those are known for damaging them.

Heard about this maybe a month or two ago. Alongside the GBA port of Super Mario 64, this is something that shouldn't have even been possible.
