I created this Rom hack using this Game Genie code: NNXAZZYE AANAAXZG This allows you to start the game from any world, press B at the title screen repeatedly to skip worlds, this code also lets you go past World 8, meaning you can go to worlds 9+ (aka Glitched Worlds).

During my kiddo years, I remember accessing these levels with Game Genie on the actual NES console and Super Mario Bros. cartridge. It was extremely fascinating. I think I found the code from Game Genie Code Creators Club. It's a website. I'm not sure if it exists anymore. I kinda' miss the days where I used to study that site on how to make codes. Now I'm promoted to hexing ROMs and PC games and that stuff gets crazy.

Is there a way to go to the minus world too? :-)
Yes and no, the minus world on itself can still be accessed via the infamous glitch but you cannot skip to it directly from this hack, however the level itself is shared with other levels (I forgot the number/symbol) so technically yes.

I didn't know about these tools. Really cool you can make simple hacks like this one with them! I'm not that much dedicated to Mario, so I always end up giving up in the middle of the game, altough I'm curious about how is the last stages and the ending. For sure I'll give it a chance.

The original game already has unlimited continues hidden as an easter egg, if you get a game over, on the title screen hold A and press Start, it'll send you back to the world you died in, really wish I knew this as a kid.
Thanks for the information.

The concept of being able to choose a world to your liking without having to complete the entire game is quite good, although it also serves as a kind of continue in case you lose all your lives.
