Action, Drama, Romance, Sci-Fi, Mecha, Military
Yeah yeah let's get down to business, time past fast since my latest Hype Thread. Another mecha but this one is very special i enjoyed because is also inside the Macross/Robotech universe which, big fan here.
The year is 2120, humanity has left the Solar System and started the colonization of other planets. One of the farthest colonies is located on the terraformed planet Glorie. There is an army of the Southern Cross that protects the colonists there from any unknown dangers. But planet Glorie is also the ancestral home of the Zor, a highly advanced race of nomadic humanoid aliens who have returned to reclaim their world, a relentless war erupts between both races that ultimately leads to a cataclysmic showdown and into a no-win scenario for either. Yeah sounds interesting, hmmm. . .
The start of the series is a bit ''slow'' but later on is very rewarding, the characters everyone of them has an interesting view of the world, war and life. The script is so cool that needs to be transferred on a newer anime version the darker the better or why not with the right production and cast a Real Live Action adaptation.
Yeah always saving the best, for the Gundam Fans there is a character from the Zor Empire that pilots a RED Bioroid yeah that ''rings a bell'' (OST hind).
Add up the OST is by Ken Sato, Yuji Dan it is very good especially in the action scenes and when the Zor Launch an attack, you know what exactly i am typing about when you watch it, i don't want to spoil it most people in my threads know my commitment on any OST's in games/anime/movies.
I wanted to say Jeanne that is one of the main characters is not my fav, i liked Marie she is waifu material but unfortunately she has fewer screen time. This is 23 episode series that premiered at Spring of 1984 and rated R+ - Mild Nudity by Tatsunoko Production Studios.
Tell us about your thoughts i am interested on the opinion of people that watched all the episodes.
That's all folks, thanks for reading until my next thread see you.
