Suggestions for similar soundtracks?

Nier Gestalt and Replicant Piano Collections is my favourite album. They're piano versions of songs from Nier Gestalt/Replicant, aka from the same series as Drakengard. I linked the whole playlist of the album

Search up anything from the Nier soundtracks.

Somestand out tracks from this album:
Grandma

Kaine

Song of The Ancients

if piano isn't quite your forte (heheh music joke), there's also the actual compositions from the OST itself which are more full of diff instruments and vocals

edit: im a HUGE gigantic mega fan of this album btw. the way the pianos are mic'ed up in these recordings is so impressively intimate. you can legit feel and hear the wood of the piano creaking, as well as the pedals and the keys being depressed.
it's gorgeous

As far as I know this musical genre is called "Worldbeat" as a "general name". There are many "subgenre" of it now as these video games' musics rather Japanese style version of Worldbeat that's a fusion between "New Wave" and "Classical Crossover". For example this song was very popular around 90s, we were all singing this song that has meaningless lyrics lolol:

Nah, this has a completely different tone than what Naltic posted. Like not even the same vibe at all.

The music from Nier is definitely more inspired by Classical European music. The overall tone of the Nier/Drakenguard OSTs are all very sad and aching, as if your heart is cracking and breaking. Some of the tracks, when played with only guitar also have that sort of very somber, melancholic Spanish vibe to them as well.

New Wave is a completely different thing in its own. When I think New Wave, I think of:
The Police
Duran Duran
The Cure
Talkingheads
