Street Fighter movie Sneak Peek...

Looking at the posters, while I like some things, like Zangief's looking excellent, I'm very disappointed with some other stuff, we could've had better with just a little more effort, Akuma just looks bad and unremarkable, Chun-li's costume is... something??? Dhalsim's missing the skulls for a random necklace, but why? Though he looks super good. And we really couldn't have had stache-less Dan? C'mon... Dastmalkian looks so underwhelming as Bison, and they should've kept the blue in the design, there is no break in the colour now it's just red.
The trailer looks fun and I'll probably watch it sometimes in the future, but as usual I kept my expectations low and barely got rewarded, at least it's not Borderlands, I didn't even go past the trailer for that.

This looks... ahem*.... yeah, it certainly looks...

Can't be all that bad, tho... look like Eric Andre at 00:28

Why TF they light every fucking movie, music video, and tv show now (and what feels like the past 8-10 years) with that same two-tone side lighting? Goodness gracious, it's exhausting.

This trailer has Joe from Street Fighter 1, Alpha-style Cammy (arguably Alpha style Chun-Li too), Akuma from SSF2X (though he was also in Alpha), but then we also see El Fuerte from SF4, it also seems to have a wacky announcer like SF5. This movie clearly has absolutely no intention of being lore accurate to any game, seems like they're just throwing characters in willy-nilly.
If they throw a hadouken or any special moves, probably will please the small small tiny amount of fans. Mortal Kombat movie would flopped harder if they didn't. CGI is much much easier than 30 years ago.
he did not sue Capcom. in fact he felt honoured.
But after 30+ years things are different
It was more his reps, and it was more of a C&D situation, even though parodying real people in fiction is LEGAL, after the Crispen Glover back to the future 2 lawsuit, Capcom didn't want any more legal problems, ESPECIALLY since they got their butts handed to them when they sued fighting history(i think) later on.

I hope they won't make it a Guile centric movie.

SFII the movie from the 90's was basically a JCVD movie (feat. Raúl Juliá as a guest star) with a video game IP slapped on it.

I doubt it, but he has personal motivation for being in the tourament, just like Chun-Li, so they will play supporting roles. Probably like they did in SFII: The Animated Movie.

I'm not sure what to think. 1 flash kick but not much in special moves or better yet projectile spam. That's the one thing I want to see in a SF movie.

I really don't like what they did to Chun-Li's costume.
I am excited as hell. Chun-Li's costume is fine, and I see what they're going for. It looks like to be based off one of her alt-outfits from Street Fighter V.
