You knew the times when something bad happens and after some or a bunch of time is passed that one situation resolves it self?
That happened to me a bunch of times but this one is special, 4 years ago my dad bought me a smat tv, but not just with a small screen, oh hell no he bought me a huge tv but hey its a pretty good thing right?
1 Year or so later my uncle diceded to sell his playstation 2 with all his games, something that maked me really sad but at the end of that year i asked my dad for a notebook and to buy the ps2 and he did i was so happy but then "Context real quick:At that time i was living in my current room with my mom and because of this my tv was in the wall to leave more space for both of us. After acquiring the ps2 i got help from my uncle to put the av cabbles of a connector on the back of the tv to use the ps2."

At the start of the next year the av cabbles of the connector broke because of the pressure between the wall and the tv and a little time after, the tv's screen broke (when the screen broke my mom said that the tv was a showcase tv and blamed my aunt that bought the tv) my mom give it to a guy that could fix it but the size of the sceen was so big that he was unable to get a new one.

BUT recently after 4 LONG YEARS the tv was brought back, even though the screen have some dead pixels it works and the ps2 is also back in action baby.

Years ago I couldn't finish the flying school in GTA San Andreas, I stopped playing and gave it a spin again next week, I made it on the first try with no problem.

My older brother sold my PS2 without telling me, and It made me feel really bad. Luckily, I was able to find one at a flea market for very cheap, and now I have been playing my childhood games again :)))

Thankfully, he didn't sell my 3ds.

Reminds me of when I was playing Beyond the Beyond and got stuck on this stupid sliding puzzle until I just gave up. Put the game aside for a long time, played others. One day I randomly load my save, just walk on the tiles completely at random and instantly solve the puzzle by accident.

no one likes a grammar nazi
If you post on a forum it's because you want people to read your thoughts and get something from them. The better you write, the more you will be understood (and taken seriously). It feels annoying to be corrected because you take it as an attack, but this person is really doing you a service by pointing out your mistakes. Choose to look at it that way and you'll benefit from it rather than get annoyed.

I can say being online like this put serious perspective with how messed up it is out there than it is here. Like the following for me is this, I prefer Youtube over Twitch because I can be myself and not feel I need to pretend to be someone else. I don't have to go looking for an audience just to be found, I don't feel like I need to compete just to be somebody. I guess it changed my character internally because I found my voice there. I've already realized that I'm not going to be as famous or as great as those before me, but I'm not going to close down my channels to call it quits.
It's like this character is how I act in real life. I'll go with it until I'm needed and when I do, the coat comes flying off, the cap drops and then the eyes go wide and my voice booms. After I'm done, cap's over my eyes, on goes the coat and I walk out the door, satisfied.

I like when things get repaired. It's satisfying.

We had an old ginger cat named "Pitouf" that came out of nowhere from the bottom of the garden and installed himself on our couch one day. We sterilized him but he would still pee on anything when he felt in the mood for it. But he was really friendly and he would always answer with a nasal "Mew" when we talked to him.

One day I got a deal on a TV and it was all fine, until after maybe a month or two, a small black line of dead pixels appeared on the screen... It stretched vertically, from the bottom near the right corner. One very thin minuscule black line. The wife wouldn't even see it when the movie was playing, but me? I couldn't unsee. I would spend the whole movie looking at it. It was maddening. When I closed my eyes, I would still see that small black line.

When I got the time I finally unplugged the TV for a check up and when I finally unscrewed the screen, I could see the plastic bottom front panel was filled with cat piss. And some droplets of that filth managed to land on some tiny ribbon cable. The cat was of course sleeping in the next room and I asked him : "Did you do that you son of a bitch?".

"Mew".

I couldn't even get mad. Proof cats and toxoplasms are once again the superior lifeforms here. So I wiped all the mess with paper tissue and tried to carefully clean all with isopropyl alcohol. I turned it back on and there were no black line anymore. No. Now instead there was a whole stain of dead pixels the size of my arm. Mostly black, but there were some interesting gradients of color as well. I only made things worse and the screen was dead. The wife and the cats were all laughing at my face. I packed the TV in its box and went to the store to ask if they could repair it. Of course the guy there laconically said "Guarantee would not cover damage from liquids". So it went right into the trash bin.

A few month later there was another deal and we got Pitouf a new TV. Covered with a bed sheet every time we left the house.

My parents have always sold/given away systems instead of giving them to me.

I'm 33 now and very slowly building a collection. It's all digital because the market has priced me out of physical collecting.

Who would have thought such a nice gesture would have lead to a 4 year long saga lol.
Shame about the dead pixels but glad you can get back to PS2 gaming baybeeeee! ::frog

Sorry, english is not my first language

Me neither

That list will never change, it's pretty much the corner stone of the English language, it helped me a lot to memorize it, decades ago.
