Never heard of this one. Taking a quick glance at those screenshots led me to believe that it's essentially "Race / Hard Drivin'" but with a plane instead of a car.

I haven't played any version of this game but it doesn't look too bad for the Mega Drive/Genesis version although the original version of the game is the Arcade version.

The first thing that caught my eye was that the mountains on the Genesis are completely green and resemble the Egyptian pyramids. I think the game takes place in a different climate on the Genesis. The SNES is smoother and the mountains are more bare.
