Honestly is better for people to wait for the android version to be ported to Vita if wanting to play this on Vita especially with latest update. The vita version suffer from long loading when starting the game but other then that it work fine.

but who knows when the android version will get a port or if it gets ported. This version is very playable

You're implying the android port would run better than the actual Vita port when you have no proof.

Well, there is a PC version that you can get from Steam or GOG though.

I'd point out the irony of a game with 16-bit graphics being unplayable on an emulator for a system literally an order of magnitude or two more powerful, but I really think it speaks for itself.

The reason some games don't play on certain systems isn't always just graphical fidelity.
It could be a programming or engine issue, or the emulator itself.
