Star Wars: The carvings on Anakin's necklace is a foreshadowing of the most pivotal moment of his life.

On the left image is a scene from a 3 episodes arc of the animated series Star Wars The Clone Wars where Anakin, Obiwan and Ahsoka end up on a ''planet'' called Mortis where 3 force entities live. Some important stuff happens to Anakin there, he is confronted by the 3 beings that hold the Force into balance and is shown his dark future.

On the right image is a necklace Anakin made when he was a child which he gives to Padme in Episode 1 Phantom Menace

What I am suggesting is that as a child Anakin had a vision or precognition of the events that would happen years later on planet Mortis, and that despite not remembering or understanding the entire vision he tried to draw/carve on a little piece of wood what he managed to remember of it.

I put little color circles around the characters on the left to help associate them with the symbols on the right and I drew the orange lines to highlight the similarities between the layout of that scene with the design of the necklace. (I may have mistakenly mirrored things up a bit but the idea is still there)

Normally I'd say you're reaching, but the creators of Star Wars The Clone Wars were clearly big fans that loved putting references like that in their work. So I'm willing to bet they purposefully setup the composition of that scene to match that necklace in that roundabout way.

So yeah, I'd say that's a pretty good theory.
