I just thought I’d share what I got recently. Anyone here Spyro fans? If so, which one is your favorite out of the original 3? For me it might be Ripto’s Rage.

only ever played spyro 3 year of the dragon on ps1 back then, and even then it was a pirated copy so i never really got anywhere playing my brother's save file whenever he'd let me
eventually his save file got erased and he got pissed cos he thought i did something but it was the game doing it 😂 😂 😂

so now i'm starting from 1, and it's been good ole simple fun, how it used to be
thanks for reminding me to get back to it

Honestly, the Spyro the Dragon Trilogy is the True Golden Age that the Franchise had and it was thanks for the team at Insomniac Games who developed these great games. But we must admit that they also have their advantages and disadvantages.

Spyro 1 is a bit too simple.
Spyro 2 is a bit uneven.
Spyro 3 is a bit too long, bloated and glitchy.

I love them all, i'll play 1 or 2 depending on my mood, 3 is the one i'll go back to the least.

I loved Spyro 1 to death as a kid and didn't play Ripto's Rage until adulthood and man, the collect-a-thon stuff is very tiring, to the point where I feel like it actually takes away from the gameplay. And it's not that I dislike collect-a-thons (hell one of my favorite games for the PS1, Muppet Monster Adventure, is one) but Ripto's Rage is just very explicit about it

I know I owned it as a kid but I don’t remember much about playing it.
I loved playing the remake though, everything felt top notch although I’ve only played the first part yet.
