Spooky Games for Halloween

I'd probably have to go with any Resident Evil game but especially the remake of RE1. Still need to get around to actually finishing it though.

I'm not into Halloween (not a tradition in my country) and I'm also not into horror genre anyway.

I tried the first "Yomawari" once, on Vita: I quit almost immediately because it scared me, that's why I can post here to recommend it as a spooky game for this season!

Along with these (tried them because of art style, but they're pretty disturbing too and also beware because the controls are a bit clunky/frustrating)

Despite not being into this genre, I played this one ("Shadow Hearts") recently: I saw screenshots on a ps2 magazine back in time, when I didn't own the console yet, and a few weeks ago it came to my mind and I decided to give it a try. I'm glad for the savestates on emu because they saved me lots of headaches, and I got the "good" ending (even if it's not canon). Only very disturbing part has been the haunted mansion and its boss.

i got passable at knifing zombies in the director's cut. REmake i want to try to learn how to do the same.

Anything spoopy but not too scary: Medievil, Luigi's Mansion, Parasite Eve, Castlevania...

I suck at actual horror games with chasers and jumpscares, they do get in my nerves
