Spin-offs you love

Yoshi Puzzle
Pokemon Pinball
Kirby Pinball
Final Fantasy Tactics
Sonic R(More due to that fabulous soundtrack)

Star Fox Adventures is Rare’s last great work. Certainly deserves a try. Enjoy!

Soul Reaver. One of the greatest video game spin offs ever made. Recently remastered for anyone who didn’t play it yet!

Tatsunoko vs Capcom. With characters like Karas or my personal favourite, Polimar. Brilliant fun fighter. Colourful, great music, great stages and great gameplay - fast responsive fighting system.

Megaman Legends. Kicking that can in the little mall… the music… if you know, you know. Good times. Great visuals that have aged well and lovely music. Such a charming game. Clearly, a lot of effort and love went into it. Legends is a wonderful little adventure.

Mechcommander - a fun real time strategy game based on the mechwarrior series. Just randomly remembered this. Good fun.
Great picks. I loved soul reaver, I'm currently playing the remaster. It's fantastic. And yeah it is a spin off of Blood Omen, I always forget that!... Megaman legends is possibly my favourite game ever full stop.

Onimusha Blade Warriors.
It's dollar store Smash for people who don't have Ninty console, and it's actually pretty good.

  • Final Fantasy Tactics and Crystal Chronicles
  • Pokémon Snap and Mystery Dungeon
  • Mario Tennis and Hoops
  • Kirby Air Ride
  • Phantasy Star Online as a Phantasy Star spin-off? Not sure if that counts
  • Dragon Quest Monsters
  • Monster Hunter Stories
  • Resident Evil: Outbreak and The Mercenaries 3D
  • EX Troopers as a spin-off of Lost Planet?
  • Tekken Force (I'd love to see a full game someday)

Mario Tennis Aces is such a fun couch co-op! To the madman who awarded Chain Chomp playable status: you're a legend.

Are there spin-offs from games you like that you also thoroughly enjoy?

In my case, I really enjoy a puzzle game spun-off from Shovel Knight, Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon. It's a matching puzzle game with tons of content and charm, not to mention mod support (on PC).
Summon Night - Swordcraft Story series!
🧐interesting, I never heard of either of these. I should add them to the list.
