Uchuu Taitei God Sigma created by Toei's Television Division under the name "Saburo Yatsude" and produced by Toei Company. Yoshinobu Nishizaki's Academy Productions provided the animation services, Toei Agency handled the advertising for the show with sponsor Popy (now Bandai's Boy's Toys Division).

In the year 2050 mankind has been advancing its space technology, however the planet is set upon by a mysterious enemy the forces of Eldar who came from 250 years in the future.

In their time 2300 their planet Eldar was invaded by Earth and soundly defeated by Earth's Trinity Energy, a mysterious energy used in their weaponry that possesses power many times that of a hydrogen bomb. The Eldar people's objective is to steal this Trinity Energy before it can be used against them.

Nice recommendation, the art style kinda reminds me of The Ultraman (1979). Maybe it's from the same author, or that's just the 80s style

I saw it in the eighties, but even then I preferred God Mars to this one, which I saw again recently with my son.
Memorable original theme song, while the italian one sucks.
