No, your eyes do not deceive you, this is actually running on the Sega 32X, visuals are a bit blurry but for a 32X port this is quite impressive. This is just a demo version 0.1a though the developer said he intends to finish porting the entire game. Tested on Kega Fusion and runs like a dream. Homepage http://ssntails.srb2.org/srb32x/

just WOW and TFW?!?! Ported it over and it looks so cool!!! amazing work! This game truly is amazing homebrew community work!

SRB2 is one of my favorite games of all time, love seeing it interpreted on different hardware. Used to play the Wii port back in the day

I'll sound a bit petty but I wish he chose the 1.09.4 build as a groundwork than the latest one.

Because it's the last "classic" SRB2 version made by him and it would be less straining on the hardware as well.

Well maybe SOJ just never really saw Doom, or they did but never had that spark of inspiration.
Impressive and easily better than most of the actual 3D Sonic games.
I respect your opinion but I respectfully disagree, while this is an impressive project it does not compare to Sonic Adventure or most 3D Sonic games, it lacks slopes, loops, corkscrews, and everything that defines a Sonic game, it also controls slippery, credit for the devs on this port to add the homing attack too because og SRB2 does not have a homing attack, I like this game still and it is a lot better than what SoA were doing on the Saturn (Sonic X-treme) but it's not better than what Yuji Naka have created.
It's reassuring when I see "Tested on Kega Fusion and runs like a dream". I thought I was the only one still using this ancient emulator.
I know people who still use it, I personally use GenesisPlus GX and Pico Drive (mostly as cores on RetroArch) but Kega has its fans still, in fact, soon I will be sharing a couple Sonic titles here and I will share instructions on how to run them on Kega.
Dumb question: does this mean this would run on the Saturn as well??
Probably, there IS an old port for the Dreamcast but it's based on an older build and only has the first two worlds.

That's some impressive use of the 32X's largely untapped power. That's the kind of thing Sega should have used it for, as well as well made ports of arcade classics like Alien vs Predator and such.
