Alongside that, people want to play Sonic Adventure again AT ALL on modern platforms. Or play it for the first time, because Sonic is one of the few series where every single title is always relevant to fandom discussion. The sad truth is that I think SEGA has lost the source code, which is something they’re infamous for doing. And not just the Dreamcast original, which would account for why it’s never been ported, but the DX version as well since it’s been over 13 years since that version of the game was last ported to anything. In short: don’t get your hopes up for an official Adventure remaster. Or remake. If it ever does happen, that’s cool, but it’s clearly not in the cards right now and probably won’t be ever again.
