Takashi Iizuka the head of the Sonic Team has now clarified that there are currently no plans for a remake or remaster of Sonic Adventure. Instead the company is fully focused on new titles.

Sonic Adventure was released in PAL territories on October 14, 1999 for the Dreamcast. Later versions for GameCube, PS3 and Xbox 360 followed.

Sega does not know what to do honestly. Yuji Naka left so there's no reason to remake/remaster it.

The fans usually restore Sonic games. There's mods for SA1 and 2. There's a new version of Sonic 2006 now too. lol

They could just fix the current broken port instead. is not like the game is awful to look at, it's just extremely buggy.
