Due to the recent small nuclear meltdown that happened, maybe and I don't know if the Xeno boards allow or have the options, but maybe a kind of "I agree" prompt when going into an article that may cause people to have a dumb ass knee-jerk reaction without mulling it over.

Like a warning of sorts, and you have to click "I agree" to read it. Not for every article mind you, just ones that deal with sensitive topics, similar to the article in question.

Something like "Warning: This article contains topics about [Insert touchy topic here] By clicking "I agree" and proceeding, you forgo any rights to complain, Bitch or whine about the topic. Doing so will result in a month long reader-only status"

or something along those lines. Just an idea ::cirnoshrug

It's not that I don't agree with your idea, but I don't think it's really needed.

I remember posting an article about a VERY touchy topic and it went over great. I don't think we have to bend our ways to accommodate for the needs of a minority of people who don't even plan to stick around following what went down.

Fair enough.
I suppose those who would have a blowout over it would leave anyway. Go ahead and remove this then if you want to

No, that's just my opinion.

Let's hear what the boss, the other mods and the community have to say about it, too.

Here is a suggestion, how about giving me power to outright ban people? I won't abuse it i promise! Pretty please with cherry on top?

It would be a pointless addition.

People will just disregard it and click on agree and complain later anyway.

Look at a spicy tag on any art sharing site, and you will know exactly what I mean.

I’d say if you don’t like that article it’ll best to just leave it be after you’re done reading.
Although I must admit we have some damn great writers here (excluding me) the only reason I missed out on some articles is that I’m busy with some rl shenanigans. That said why comment if you don’t have something good say .

That would of course be the most sensible solution, but you can see that many people find it difficult to deal with such things and would rather attack and fight everything.
