Thank you. I just post here interesting stuff that I see elsewhere, and isn't here, or that people show me.

This project looks unreal! Downpour had a lot of cut content. A boss fight, dialogue that was too crude, gameplay systems didn't make it through development, the main character would change with events in the game, an entire expansion that was planned and only became a comic... It was in conception a very ambitious title.

Downpour was kind of a weird entry for me. I enjoyed it while playing through it. beat it once and never thought about it again.
I did feel like it was unfinished at the time. and the only gun I knew of in the game was behind some sort of paywall as I recall. but it was like a very average survival horror game otherwise
I feel like if it wasn't called "Silent Hill" it would have probably been more popular.

Yeah the locker at the beginning you use a code from preordering to open. But it's not the only place to get a gun in the game.

There's five types of guns. Nothing fancy though. They appear in certain parts, like in the vault in the second floor of the house next to the dinner. There's the nailgun (from a specific preorder code), the regular pistol, the golden pistol (with extra damage), the shotgun and rifle (from another specific preorder code).

The game has a fair amount of secrets. Until early this year I didn't know I could get into that second floor. Because you need to get a key which is hidden in the environment to get inside.

I didn't hate this game. It didn't feel like Silent Hill at all, but it was a pretty alright horror game.

Now Homecoming... Ugh...
