I want to get into collecting old iPhones but first, I want a phone that runs legendary iOS 6 and is also kind of modern.
(also the fix for the iPhone 4s would be a new mother board. it would be a $15 fix. and a iPhone 5 price is around $30-$50)
I would love to see your guys opinions

Confused as to why you’re asking but I’d say to repair if you don't have the urge to upgrade.

Why do you want a old 32bit iPhone, plus they're easy to hack. My honest opinion save money & switch to Android. AI is trash on iPhone.

wait I have a few of my old iphones (3G, 4, SE gen1 ) but I didn't realize people actually collect them.

I had my iPhone 6 for years before I eventually upgraded it to my current SE just to play Pokemon Go at a stable rate. I’d say just upgrade personally.

iPhone 6s is still good up to this day I know coz I’m using to type these comment right now.

This is the sad truth regarding electronic devices, its called planned obsolescence.

I'd personally go for an upgrade, but Android's the way to go for older phones: most emulators and media apps run flawlessly on anything from Android 4.2 and up, effectively breathing new life on to a phone too old for regular use. Hell, that's what I did.

let me reinstate (I'm not upgrading and I know for a daily phone these are not the best choice)

mmm. . . I'll think about it.

the only reason I would not only because I grew up with an iphone and mostly want to fix it for nostalgia purposes and ( start a collection).

same reason as I replied under @Waffles .

Well if you're collecting, I can understand. To be on the safe side don't use it for calls, text, or anything because, at a security stand point, they're easy to hack.

if u get an iphone 5 give it a kiss for me because i miss mine
