It appears the Okinawa Police did a conversion/functionality hack for a fan favorite game on the NeoGeo CD. Upon looking into emulation of the NeoGeo CD on the PSP console, the emulation requires a very particular set of extraction/extracted files and tedious work in order to have this game be playable at all on said emu, as it appears those particular "Shinsetsu Samurai Spirits Bushidoui Retsuden" set of files are nowhere to be found online for the NeoGeo CD. The O.P. took it upon themselves to give the process a go for their first time, and would like to share the access to this file for other PSP homebrew enthusiasts. I hope this proves helpful for other PSP brewers looking for this title on their console. Please enjoy!

good luck.. i still cant even get this game playing on my pc no matter how much i try or how many different files i get.. id love to though, it looks great

Ah right, this method also worked on NeoRaine PC emu and one user said on RetroArch as well.
I sure hope this could work on RetroArch Android, I haven't tried it yet.

I have been successfully playing it on my PSP as we speak. The music is actually pretty great, and the translation is very much playable/understandable. ALSO, it must be easier on the PC without this set of files and would probably be easier with other file formats (I imagine). If you really want to play it, maybe pick up a PSP and try out these files.

I really need to try this game some time. Too bad we'll be forever
left a chapter short.

Yeah, the release we got was severely cut down a lot from the original planning. It was supposed to be a trilogy of first three games retelling in the first place, hence why they recruited the 3's character designer.

The curse of SNK when they tried to do anything other than fighting games, really.:loldog

Pretty much, and it's sad, because the Neo absolutely needed a wider gamut of game types.
