Share your dreams

Once I had a dream my dog got ran over by a car, so naturally his biological defensive system acted up, shrinking him and encapsulating him inside a newly generated Nintendo Wii shell. Me and my dad had to dismantle the Wii to get him out of there
I guess you uplifted Nintendogs to a whole new level.

i have a lot of banger dreams, though i often forget to write them down... that said, lemme share some of the really good ones that i did manage to write down before passing out again

"pretty sure my dream last night was that i left work before closing everything fully and i was so scared and i had to go back and close the store. and then i realized it wasnt real and began dreaming about the history of bumblebees in new mexico which was next to washington for some reason" -4/16/2024, 1:54 AM

"i dreamed that i had found a beta version of halflife 2. i dont remember anything about it" -1/4/2023, 6:54 AM

"chuggaaconroy did a challenge where he sat in a bunch of raisins and then for a second part of the challenge he ate them all too" 1/3/2023, 7:09 AM

"had a dream last night! where my mom was getting into nfts and i was telling her about the lack of creative integrity, and apparently it made me so angry that i started talking in my sleep and my roommate heard me" 6/12/2022, 9:30 AM

I swear I read "...where my mom was getting into ntfs..."
And I couldn't get but wonder what was so exciting about disk file systems.

I have fairly frequent dreams that involve an old mall job I had. In the dreams I'll be in some mall, and wander into a store only to find that the owner has resurrected the business. Then I usually go to the register and log in, and then different things happen but it's usually just organizing a small store. Sometimes he's gone purely into video games or purely into books, but sometimes it's just the old business as it was, and it's kinda nice.

Then I have dreams where I'm either in one of three places (So Cal/Seattle/Maui) and I need to get to one of the others in time for work, but I have to walk. In the dreams where I'm leaving Maui, somehow walking across an ocean is of no concern, other than how long it will take. Then I wake up and my legs are physically sore. So I assume I have some kind of restless leg action going on while I'm asleep.

god, i have dreams about my old job all the time too. they're strangely comforting, i guess it's nice to go back to an old routine? at least, that's how it is for me.

I once had a dream that made me terrified of owls for years. In my dream, I woke up in my bedroom like it was a normal day except there were three men in business suits standing around me but they had owl heads, but with human eyes proportionally sized the same as the eyes of an owl. I went around trying to obviously tell people about the owl men, but no one could see them and no one really responded. I tried to go about my day as normal, and they followed me everywhere almost right behind me. Eventually I had enough and turned and said something I can't remember to them, then they all said "once" in unison as a response then I woke up shitting myself. I was maybe 14 or so, no idea where the inspiration for it came from and it made me terrified of owls for a pretty good amount of time.

There was this time where I hit just the right balance between not sleeping well enough and well enough during an afternoon.

I had sequential, short-lived sleeping sessions, which resulted in me dreaming about 5~7 times in a row in each sleep. Except they all shared the same continuity, so in practice it was one reeeally big dream. It was about an fictional world with super powers on it.

By the time I woke up for real, reality felt weird for a moment.

I used to never remember my dreams, but my circadian rhythm has been messed up for like a year now, which makes me fall asleep extremely late, wake up once at like 10am, then fall asleep for a few more hours.

During that time after 10am, I almost always remember my dreams, but they're usually nothing special. Mostly it's just me hanging out with someone I know, along with a fictional character, in a slightly weird setting.

However, I do have a recurring super stupid nerdy dream where I'm in a gameshop packed with cool limited edition bundles for super cheap, but I never have any money in the dreams. 😩

I think you just keep visiting Hell in your sleep.

Did you watch Secret of Nimh as a kid?

I don't remember much of my dreams, but for the ones that do are pretty weird that I'm not sure how to explain it myself.

One I still remember vividly, I was just walking in a dessert, the sky is bright reddish purple, suddenly there are giant jellyfish came down from the sky, I instantly teleported into a golf course or something and battalion of tanks appear outta nowhere shooting at the jellyfish.

See? It's weird.

I forget my dreams after a while due to them being REM responses to the day's stimulus, but I do remember the dream I had today.
I was Leon Kennedy on RE4 (ofc) but instead of being Spain it was Mexico, and instead of ganados they where characters from El Chavo del Ocho, a mexican comedy series that also got famous in south america, so I was giving head shots to Don Ramón and roundhousing kicks to him and suplexing Quico for his square ball lol.

No, weirdly enough. I had no particular interest in owls or anything before having it. Just a very random vivid series of images my brain decided to show me that night I guess. It didn't help that I watched Close Encounters of the Third Kind with Milla Jovovich not long after I had, made the kinda meh movie terrifying to me.

@Hikari.EXE, that sounds rad as hell.

My dreams are pretty cinematic. As soon as I wake up, I tell my sister about them and then write them down so I don't forget. There's reoccurring motifs but honestly, I don't see any spiritual meaning in them. They also don't feel like nightmares even if they get a little scary.

Usually, I'm trying to find my wife. I'm in a bowler hat and I have a long coat and I've got a suitcase and I end up in some mildly comical kafkaesque disorientating scenario where everyone expects something from me but I can only stutter "Ah! My wife! I've gotta g-g-g-go home to my w-w-w-wife!"
I'm unmarried in real life by the way. I still don't know what my wife looks like.

There's also some curse that was put upon me about a year and a half ago. I was on a boat going to an island, and some white person (as in: albino anime all the way glowing white) got mad at me for not performing a moonlight soulmate ritual. I didn't know them, so of course I didn't go through with it. They said I'd regret it forever. After that I developed a chronic illness.

Sometimes I'm a birdboy with a scientist and once I went to a sonic the hedgehog themepark. Usually it's the wife stuff. There's a joke in the house that if I see my wife, I'll die. Hehe. Well, they're kind of funny. I like sleeping just to see what kind of dream I'll have.

i always dream multiple times a night but ive never been "me" in any of them. always someone else in different time periods different places different worlds whatever. a recent one that stuck with me was i was some woman in her 30s who dressed really flashy like a thick fur coat and heels and stuff standing outside the streets of some neighborhood waiting for somebody. i felt my phone vibrate in my pocket which i guess meant some sort of signal for me to step in the road and trust that the next car wouldnt run over me. which it didnt and then the dude got out he was like a stereotypical guard with sunglasses and he gave me an address to go to, it skips to me going there and it was at a warehouse at the docks. there were guys smoking a shit ton inside and i guess in my mind i knew they were the bad guys. they handed me a notebook with nothing but circles in it i knew i was supposed to fill them in for some reason but i dont really know why. the more i kept filling them in the more they kept appearing and the guys were getting impatient telling me to hurry up i was feeling really scared there and woke up. it was one of those dreams that have the same feel of a nightmare but its so nonsensical that you cant say it was a "scary dream" just that you strongly felt the emotion of fear during it

I once had a dream where I was playing some kind of rpg with Sonic the hedgehog and Blaze the cat, although the title screen had some elf girl, then I checked the list of playable characters and I decided to play with Timmy Turner and his fairy godparents, and the battle system was like the mega man battle network games, it even had the same battle music as battle network 1!

I also once dreamt I was playing some kind of Total Drama game for the PS2 that was like a party game of sorts with the minigames referencing challenges from the show
