I love the classics of Japanese cinema, especially the "Godzilla" universe.

I don't know this one, but it was a good idea for next weekend.
Thanks man!
You're welcome, Dr. Gori. My first Godzilla movie that I remember watching was Godzilla VS Megalon:

I thought Jet Jaguar in the movie was pretty cool, same with Gigan, though I like modified Gigan more, as it's design is pretty badass.

I haven't watched any movies so far this month, but one of my favorites is Godzilla VS Destoroyah.

Watch Godzilla Vs. Destoroyah | Prime Video
i cry at the end ::bigboss

give GMK: Giant Monsters All Out Attack if you haven't already. my favorite of the "older" godzilla flicks

Yep, I seen it a few years ago, but thanks anyways. I actually rewatched Godzilla VS Destoryorah earlier today.

The movie for today after dinner is Black Belt (Kuro Obi).

As I practice martial arts, the topic interested me a lot.

I've never heard of it, I hope it's good.

Potential Spoilers, idk:
I watched Smile 2 last night with my brother and it was brilliant. I usually hate horror films but enjoyed the first two Conjuring films made by Blumhouse. The original had one or two scenes that made it memorable and stuck with me, so I gave this one a go. This one completely blows its predecessor out of the water. It's terrifying and I found myself closing my eyes during certain scenes. Refreshing to see something unique after the hiatus caused by the writer's strike and the never-ending mediocre sequels. This one could stand on its own as a standalone film. Two criticisms I have is that the ending is somewhat cliche and the villain looked a bit cartoonish due to the lack of practical effects compared to the first. That's about it. Is it a masterpiece? No, but it's a great film. 8/10, recommended.

Tonight I watched All Hallows Eve 2. Some people dislike the fact that it doesn't have Art the Clown. But he's got his own thing going on now anyway. The pumpkin face guy is kinda lame though.

The shorts are a bit better. But a common complaint is that they go nowhere. I'd argue the one about the pumpkin carving ended when it should. It felt a lot like a Stephen King short story. The only one I didn't like was The Last Halloween. It's a confusing fever dream. What is actually going on?

The one with the little boy whose father died would have been better if it wasn't horror. It's a sad story with a very tacked on "And then a skeleton popped out!". I felt really bad for this kid and thought he might be generating poltergeist activity or it was all in his head because he missed his dad. Nope. There's a real monster under the bed..

I just watched the new deadpool yesterday and I must say, it was funny as always

Just watched Creed (2015) on a passanger bus.
I liked it, I thought it would be more like rocky v, thank god it wasn't. I still think of Rocky Balboa as a perfect ending to the franchise, but I think creed is a nice addition

This is my plan for tonight.

Watched these 3 in the weekend with my gf. It's been a while since the last time I had a movie marathon. It was great.

Also we attempted to watch The Substance. Big mistake. There's pretentious stuff and then there's gross stuff, but rarely I've seen such a bad mix of both.

Just watched The Substance with the wifey while she recovers from Knee Surgery, really cool concept. Reminds me of bit of Infinity Pool, Demi Moore crushes the role. Worth checking out!
