A Fan's vision is only that and they at best guess or interpret their understanding that in the end is not "Developer's intention" since those are in the released game or had to be discarded. We also for this game in specific ignore, that maybe he full nude side content is just that: What they can do in another medium and have more effective and fun cross media project. That logic is like saying because a a Halo novel has a love or sex scene the original vision of game developers of having sex and marriage in Halo is ruined and now needs to be restored by fans. While you can start being semantic about "cultural contextual understanding of the word is malliable" I been hammering down and seem to need to repeat myself, with a lot of support, that most of the community of at least certain types of gamers within gaming circles, forums, rom hacking sites and so on, have been in fairly good agreement for decades on what "uncensoring" a game means. It does not mean hypothetical censorship or dubiously, at best, restoring someone's vision, but repeated practice of removing or changing, usually sexually provocative, sometimes violent, sometimes text content that existed in some original released version. I spoken with a ton of agreement that a lot, if not most, see it thus, and I advised for different language for clarity. While calling a nude mod of dubious restorative nature "uncensored" would blindside some gamers, myself potentially included, using "R18 'restoration'" "Nude Mod" and many other alternative terms would be understood universally. In my books, universal understanding is far better than trying to force for certain circle and community dual or triple understanding of a term there has been general agreed understanding of, for decades.
