  • Hi-res graphics, up to 4K and higher, whatever your system supports.
  • Smooth, rock solid 60 fps with perfect frametime/framepacing (no judder or stuttering).
  • Fully compatible with XInput controllers, including the ability to map triggers to independent analog axes.
  • Tailor-made control profile for a seamless navigation through the game's menus and settings.
  • Restored and fully working force-feedback/rumble/vibration.
  • Music during races now works. It's been carefully selected from the highest quality source available and is presented in OGG at 500+ kbps.
  • Game CD is not required to play anymore.
  • Lancia Stratos' UV map has been fixed (by chmcl)
  • Widescreen Fix by AuToMaNiAk005 is included in four variants: 16:10, 16:9, 21:9, and 32:9.
  • Fixed audio issues and invisible on-screen text in multi-player mode.
  • (Optional) Alternate music tracks for attract/demo mode (directly from Arcade, Japan version), Snowy (Arcade's "Estrada Nova" track) and Riviera stage/Main menu (Dreamcast-exclusive "MNF" track).
  • (Optional) Custom ReShade profile with 3 different custom overlays to perfectly fit 4:3 picture into 16:9 and 16:10 screens.
  • (Optional) All sorts of extras and goodies.

In addition, a difference not mentioned in the video is that in spite of the slightly lower poly car models etc, the PC/DC version also had baked shadows/lighting on the courses that wasn't present on the Arcade version (for example, there are dark segments of road where a shadow is cast by roadside cliffs, etc.)

Beyond based.
I'm glad older PC ports are being optimised & modded with a tone of quality of life, compatibility fixes & performance enhancements.

We were blessed that SegaPC existed, not many other companies when faced with hardship turn to PC.
Especially between 1995-2001 when it was wild west for graphic API's. Look at the back of a old PC Game, some will list 6 different graphic card manufactures and heck, Sega themselves had a GPU to run Saturn ports:
It was also Nvidia's first card ::omgdoom(Sadly you can't just pop in a Saturn game, it has to be a Sega PC title)

... Now I want the 3DO Blaster Graphics card, because it could just play 3DO titles.

Nice to see that the music, specifically, is addressed here 🙌

I had this on the Dreamcast back in the day. Ended up trading it in towards something else (Sega GT, maybe?) but always kinda missed it. later, when I saw the Windows PC version on clearance at a Toys R Us (of all places??) I went for it, and was thrilled to have the game back again!

But the music. While it did technically play during races, it was only at, maybe, 10% of the volume it should have been. I spent nearly every race cranking the volume at the start, only to have to rush to turn it back down again before crossing the finish line.

Voices and the ending music still played at normal volume, so if I was slow on the dial...

"FINISHHHHHHHH!!"

It would boom through the house, followed by the bass-y end-of-day tune. Got to be so much of a hassle, I just played the game in silence >_>

Sega Rally 2 is a great game. I also played a lot of Sega Rally Revo on the PC. Have somebody else also played it?

I'll have to try and get this up and running on my steam deck.

I love outrun 2006 with the tweaks mod. This should be great too.
