A very uniqe game I played in my Teens. Think Disney´s Cars but cooler with thanks. That is a bit how I would desvribe the idea talking living tanks. A very underrated game for the PS2 where you got 100 tanks and over 100 upgrades. You are thrown in to the world of Quewar a world with 3 nations. The powerful and militaristic Q-Stein Empire, the seafaring and peaceful Kingdom of Nibelia, and the economically powerful and benevolent Proton Kingdom. The Q-stine emprie decided to declare war and go on a conquest of the world and you the player will have play diffrent missions on a mission to stop the Q-stine empire.

Honestly this game art style and story was got me so hooked on the game as a teen and a game I still love today. Now when I got older and thanks to the power of internet I learned that the game is part of the Choro Q game series that has allot of games and allot of them came to EU/NA but under diffrent names EU = Penny racer or NA = Gadget Racers.

This game series is made by Takara and mostly based by the japense toy car line by the same name. And Yes these games are mostly Racing game but very fun and charming racing games. I have not played all of them but here are the ones I have played.

You have Choro Q for PS1 which is the only game for the PS1 EU and NA got but there where also Choro Q 2 and 3 for the PS2

There are two main modes: Freeplay and Grand Prix. In Grand Prix, the player progresses by winning races and using the prize money to upgrade their vehicles at the autoshop for better performance. Different tyres can be installed for the various terrains in the race tracks.

Then we have Choro Q for the N64 which is also very fun raving game but sadly got mixed review´s from gaming media back in the day. But non the less a game I quiet enjoyed recently.

Then the last 2 games I played is Choro Q HG for the PS2 and Choro Q Wii.

In West just called Penny racers or Gadget Racers.

You have Grand Prix which gives the player task of earning licenses to enter events, collecting and upgrading their vehicles, and completing all events in the game to achieve 100%. There are 102 bodies and a large number of parts that the player can chose from to upgrade their vehicle. Most of these bodies are based off of real world automobiles with some dedicated "SP" models being original work by the developers.

In west the wii game is called Penny Racers Party and is more of racing mini games than regular racing but a bit fun even so.

It all started with a tank game I played in my teens and got in to the main line racing game series I been playing and loving mostly becuse the charms of the cars design but also how simple and fun they are to enjoy. A series that remind of a snes game I love. Kat´s run. And man I wish Forza HOrizone would add Kei cars or make a Forzine horizone kei car edition. I rely love the charm of tiny cars.

I recommended this Seek and Destroy game recently on here to someone else.

Back in the day me and my friend thought it was the dumbest funniest thing ever, we played it a lot, oh man what a laugh we got out of it. It's such a strange concept of having these sentient tanks. The music, the gameplay, the little blocky graphics. It was so good and hillarious. For reference, we started playing this long after the PS3 had been out. So it was like this random little game we found for nearly nothing at some store and we got a lot of nostalgia and fun from it being from the old days.

I had no idea it was part of a series and there were other games as part of it. That's really cool to know. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to play the PS2 game again then maybe go to the others after that.
Yeah for sure I remember back in my teens saw the game on local game store and I always liked tank games so I bought it and man it was so strange and odd but I ended up playing it allot because I had so fun and so many tanks to pick from.

Yeah I recently found of it was a part of a series back in 2020 when I randomly on found the PS1 game on CDromance and when I looked up Choro Q to see game play on it I found the Wiki and on there Seek and destory was listed.

Was re-playing Seek and destroy today and got me thinking I need to share with you all.
