Got it Dude, but I don't know Japanese, but only players who really know Japanese won't be a problem to understand.

in these days, i'm using google translate with phone, I survived few days in japan by using my phone : ))
but well, it might not work for all people, at least it's could be used since there is no sign of translation at all

With a guide on GameFAQs it guides you quite a bit, it tells you what the objectives are, menu functions and so on,But don't expect the game's story to be translated... you'll need to watch the anime in the background or Google Translate.

It's kind of similar with SRW but more akin to famicom wars series, and have permadeath. The gameplay is kind of cool, and the challenge is good. I played it when it first comes out. Need some japanese understanding, but iff You are Gundam fans, it wont trouble much

Among all the Kidou Senshi Gundam/Mobile Suit Gundam games that I have played on the PS1 would be the Battle Assault (1 and 2) but I never played this one which is strategy although it is completely in Japanese.
