Greetings. There's a chance you know me from my articles, since I tend to post often, but I could introduce myself properly.
I'm Aziamuth, but you can also call me Alan (it's my real name). I'm almost 30 years old and still gaming, with as much passion as before but with half the endurance. My main hobby is, obviously, video games, and when I'm on my own it's what I'm doing most of the time. Of course, variety is the spice of life, so I do other things. I like to watch movies from time to time, hang out with my friends, try out different types of beer and coffee, play guitar (I'm getting back to this after a long time of not doing it), painting (mainly mandalas because they're relaxing), writing (mostly my thoughts, I don't have enough creativity to write stories) and spending time with animals. In case it wasn't clear enough, I'm an introvert but I don't mind spending time with people, to a degree. I still value my personal time enough.
In terms of videogames, I can take on almost anything as long as it's not a sports game (with exceptions such as EA Sports Big games) or an open world (again, with exceptions). My favorite franchises are Dragon Quest, Yakuza, Ys, Disgaea, Risk of Rain, Monster Hunter and Final Fantasy. My favorite videogames are, in order: Dragon Quest VIII, Yakuza 5, Dragon Quest V, Final Fantasy IX and Hi-Fi Rush. My preferred genres are JRPGs (any kind, especially if they have a jobs sytem), fighting games and racing games, but I also enjoy dungeon crawlers and platformers. In terms of fighting games, my favorites are Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R, Xrd REVELATOR 2, Tekken 7, Tekken 8 (although I'm not playing it right now due to boycotting), Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Akatsuki Blitzkampf: Ausf Asche. Last, but not least, I'm currently playing Solatorobo: Red the Hunter, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, the campaign of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Odin Sphere Leifthrasir and Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
My biggest gaming achievements are:
- Platinuming Yakuza 5 twice (one on PS3, one on PC through the remaster).
- Writing a guide in Spanish for the platinum of Yakuza 5 Remastered.
- Beating Lingering Will in Kingdom Hearts II on Critical.
- Second place at some online tournaments in several fighting games.
